I just wrote a tutorial on making a 2 panel skirt. hubpages.com/hub/Tutoria...its-Any-Size I'll eventually make examples of each of the variations. The skirt in the photo is going to be a costume with a mermaid theme and the hipband will be freeform crochet with seashells and beads embedded in it.
